The
Autumn School “Entrepreneuship and Business Engineering”, a joint
educational project of MSU BS and Saxion University (Netherlands)
supported by the major Russian and Dutch business incubators -
GenerationS and Kennispark Twente, took place at the beginning of
December 2015.
During two months Russian and Dutch
students working together in international teams developed strategies of
introducing innovative products into foreign markets. The organisers
held a contest to choose participants among the students from both
countries who later took part in the final competition. Students made
recommendations for real companies - "4Silence" (Netherlands) and
"SolarNanoServe" (Russia), which are successful start-ups willing to
enter the market. The educational support was provided in the form of
video courses and presentations of MSU BS’s and Saxion’s faculty on the
virtual platform http://www.autumnbusinessschool.org. Experts and
business coaches of Generation S and Kennispark Twente also helped
students with their advice.
In December Dutch students came to MSU
BS to defend their research papers. During their stay in Moscow the
students visited Skolkovo Technology Park and some Russian and
international companies. On December 2, 2015, there was a final defense
of the papers with the virtual participation of the companies’
representatives via Skype. They asked questions and assessed the
students’ research results. The best team was awarded with a study-tour
to Saxion University which will take place in March 2016.
