R. GUNTUR MAHARDIKA: BIMC Hospital Bali

BIMC Hospital
Just putting some info out there if anyone is needing medical attention while in Bali. Our family would highly recommend BIMC hospital in Kuta. My 18 daughter was in Bali for 17 hrs and had a stroke caused by a bleed on her brain. She asked the taxi to take her to the Australian hospital, he took her to BIMC in Kuta. On arrival she filled in some paper work, went straight through and rang us 20 mins later with the news. She had to pay upfront $650US for a room and $600US for a CT scan. We flew over from Perth on the next flight, went straight to the hospital around 2am, 3 reception staff members greeted us, took us to her room which nursing staff were expecting us. All introduced themselfs, everyone spoke fluent english. A folder bed was set up in her room beside her for her boyfriend. She had an Australian, NZ, American and Indonesian Drs, we felt they all kept us informed and updated as soon as things happened. Next morning she was moved to ICU ($800US P/N.) SOS airlifted her to back to Perth that same day/night we arrived. The flight was about $50,000 AU so we are told. She had travel insurance so this was all covered. The money paid upfront was reimbursed into her account on us leaving. The hospital was spotless, we saw cleaners on their hands and knees scrubbing the floor with scrubbing brushes. Amazing service - So for those who dont know about BIMC, it is in Kuta and highly recommended. Hoping you dont have to go there but just incase you do!!!
